Released in March 2013, The People’s Audit provided a community assessment of the limited data presented in that year’s audit of LAPD Special Order 1 by the Office of the Inspector General. The report uplifted the racism inherent in the programs inflicted upon our communities in the name of National Security and the hypocrisy and logical inconsistency of LAPD accountability measures.
